Restorsea Supports Greater Education

Restorsea is proud to sponsor two incredible organizations this evening.

The Council for Economic Education will hold its seventh-annual Visionary Awards dinner where  leaders who promote economic and financial literacy to create a better-informed society will be honored.
Council for Economic Education is the leading organization in the United States that focuses on the economic and financial education of students from kindergarten through high school. For the past 60 years, our mission has been to instill in young people the fourth “R”—a real-world understanding of economics and personal finance through providing professional development to teachers, teaching resources across the curriculum and nationally-normed assessment tools.

Pencils of Promise is having its second annual charity gala this evening.  The organization has built 68 schools, and aims to raise funds for 100 schools by the end of this year- educating 6,000 students daily.
Pencil of Promise believes every child should have access to quality education.  PoP’s mission is to bring quality education to children in developing countries by building schools and establishing sustainable programs.

Lunching with the Mayor of Michael’s

(Leslie Stevens of La Force + Stevens, David Patrick Columbia of New York Social Diary, Patti Pao and Diane Clehane – image from mediabistro.com)

Michael’s: the restaurant where media moguls meet. So it’s no surprise that Diane Clehane is essentially the mayor of Michael’s. A New York Times best-selling author, journalist and blogger, Diane and her work have appeared in practically every newspaper (everything from the Wall Street Journal to the New York Post), major TV network (everything from CBS News to Access Hollywood), magazine (everything from People to Forbes), and industry publication (from Variety to Women’s Wear Daily).

Lunch at Michael’s is already one thing. Lunch at Michael’s with Diane?

Well, you can read all about it on her famed “Lunch” column at mediabistro.com. Click here.

What’s Next at 641 Lex

Another great status meeting! Core drilling was completed last weekend and we are happy to report that all went well (no damages to the lower floor tenant- we wouldn’t want to be bad neighbors before we even move in!).

We’re 90% there with our A/C installation. The sprinkler installation will begin shortly. Things may look messy but they are definitely taking shape.  In 2 weeks, we’ll see a complete transformation!
